Hello all!

It's R. Val here, with a long overdue update for Era of Silence! We've been hard at work on some backer fulfillment things, and dealing with some personal life things. I'm going to cover a lot of ground because it's been so long. For those in a hurry, here's a quick TL;DR:

• With the Kickstarter fulfillment wrapping up we're moving our focus to supporting the game and adding new content.
• Ocellaris, a horror module for Era of Silence by F. Dan O'Neill is out now. 
• A goal of monthly updates on our itch, shriketabletop.com, Patreon, Facebook, and Tumblr. 
• Three new modules on the way.
• Leave a review if you liked the game!
• Big upcoming project will get its own announcement.

State of the Game

As you may have noticed, we've rebranded this package as the Era of Silence Starter Kit! We think that reflects the current offering of the bundle, with everything you need to play, more so than just calling it a Core Rulebook. Speaking of Rulebooks, we've got some extra physical stock and that will be going up on our website when we relaunch our store. 

We're immensely happy with how the game turned out. A few tables of Era of Silence are running, that we're aware of. As well, we're very excited that the digital book is in the hands of a couple hundred people! Those who are curious might enjoy this review by Split/Party, which we were thrilled to see pick apart Era of Silence and its many apocalyptic fantasy combat scenarios. If you got a chance to read the game and liked it, or think there's something we could fix, leave a review here or on our DriveThruRPG!

There are some small things we intend to work on. An updated version of the Core Rulebook with a couple of typo fixes is on the way. As well, fixes to some boxes in the form fillable character sheet!

We've received some feedback on what content players are looking forward to! We'll cover that in the last section.

Ocellaris Out Now!

The next Era of Silence horror mystery module, Ocellaris, has been released! Explore the depths of the experimental greatship Anemone, discover what happened to the crew, and why your characters alone seem to have survived. This module by F. Dan O'Neill is a great starter story for nautical campaigns in the Long Silence. You can get it over on its standalone itch page here:

Upcoming Releases and Content

We're still working on the remaining 3 modules from the Kickstarter: Refuge on Grey River (a murder mystery), Argent Team- Ziyo Point (scenic action adventure), and EoS artist Moss Sugarmountains' Sins of Dreams (surreal disturbia adventure). These got a little slowed down as it's primarily me on them and I've been a little bogged down between jobs and moving. At this point I'm kind of taking a "they're done when they're done" attitude, but that allows me to work on other projects.

The BIG upcoming Era of Silence thing is a campaign guide that will be brimming full of setting and content to introduce people to adventuring in Vian. As well, those more fond of the rules but want some setting freedom will enjoy the SRD we're working on. The hope was for later this year but we'll see! We'll do big announcements for both when the projects have names and roadmaps.

My goal is going to be to keep these updates coming more frequently. Maybe post some dev ideas and some musings on things we could add or change. We appreciate your patience and we'll try to be more present on all our platforms going forward!
